Responsible gambling
We are committed to ensure that all our customers gamble in a responsible manner, but we also acknowledge that gambling can be addictive to some and affect their lives negatively. Since we care for our customers, and wish online gaming to be an enjoyable experience, we offer various measures for our customers to gamble in a responsible manner.
We also recommend to our customers to take into consideration the following advices:
- Gambling is a form of entertainment, not a source of income, enjoy it in moderation;
- Only play with money that you can afford to lose;
- Limit your deposits, losses and bets to help manage your gambling;
- Never chase your losses;
- Take regular breaks from gambling and monitor the time and money you spend gambling;
- Make informed and rational decision when placing bets; read carefully the terms and conditions, as well as the game rules ensuring that you understand how the product works;
- Seek professional help if you or someone you know is experiencing gambling problems or is affected by gambling problems.
Deposit, bets and loss limits
- Deposit limits. With this option you can control how much you are willing to deposit in a specific timeframe. It is a gross limit: every deposit counts towards it, and withdrawals do not reduce it. Deposit limit periods are fixed: the daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC, the weekly on Monday 00:00 UTC, the monthly on the 1st at 00:00 UTC.
- Bets limits. With this option you can control how much you are willing to play in a specific timeframe. This includes money spent on fantasy buy-ins, matchups and sportsbook bets. This amount does not consider whether you win or lose.
- Loss limits. With this option you can control how much you are willing to lose in a specific timeframe. If you are at risk of losing more than this amount, you cannot enter any more games until the period is over.
Each limit is set per period: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days. The limits screen shows your current limit, when it was set and the option to update it. Lowering a limit applies immediately. Raising a limit takes effect only after at least 24 hours and your confirmation at the end of that wait.
Take a break
With this option your account is temporarily closed, to keep a distance from the games for as long as you wish.
You can take a break for 24 hours, 7 days, 4 weeks, 6 weeks. During a break you can log in and follow the games you have already entered, but you cannot deposit or enter any new games. The break ends by itself when the period is over.
Exclude yourself
A long-term account restriction. Once self-excluded you have limited access to your account until the period is over - you can withdraw remaining funds and see the status of your fantasy team, but cannot deposit or play.
You can exclude yourself for 6 months, 12 months, 5 years, indefinitely, from a single product or from all of them. The products you can exclude yourself from are: Fantasy Tournaments, The Matchup game, Sportsbook.
Enter your password to confirm exclude yourself. This cannot be undone by you - only customer services can lift it. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed or shortened while it runs. At the end of the exclusion period, the account stays closed until you contact customer services to discuss re-opening it.
Close my account
Close your account for reasons other than responsible gambling. You keep limited access, being able to withdraw remaining funds or see the status of your fantasy team, and the account can be reopened through customer services.

Underage Gambling
FanTeam takes its responsibility for protecting minors very seriously and carries out age verification checks on all customers to prevent underage gambling.
It is against the law for those under the age of 18 (or the legal age to gamble in your state/country, as appropriate) to gamble.
Any accounts belonging to a person under the legal age found to be gambling on our site will be closed and any winnings will be forfeited.
If you know an underage person gambling with us, please contact us support@fanteam.com as soon as possible.
Underage gambling is a serious offence and we strongly advise you:
- Do not divulge your log-in details to anyone.
- Disable the 'remember password' on your computer as this could enable minors to bypass log-in security.
- Do not provide your card or bank account details to minors.
Furthermore, we strongly recommend to set up parental controls in your operating system or install specialist software to control and monitor Internet access.
Please note: FanTeam does not accept any liability under third party software.
